Hotels not managed by Genting Resort can only be found at Gohtong Jaya town, several km away before the peak. Here, Seri Malaysia Hotel is the largest establisment, offering three star accommodation with a decent range of facilities. At the end of the shoplots, Hotel Gohtong Jaya has cheaper rooms that begin from MYR100 per night, with a small cafe at the ground floor and a sports center just around the corner. Further down the road before Gohtong Jaya, a series of shophouses can be found; D'Hill Inn is a new budget hotel with a quiet environment and rooms that begin from MYR80 per night. Finally, Chin Swee Temple offers their own simple but comfortable rooms.
